Re: Dream Setlist

I think it would be cool if they played the entire Sink or Swim album followed by the entire 59 Sound album all in order. That makes 24 songs but that's how I usually listen to them, albums at a time. I've never seen a band do that in concert.

Re: Mumford and Sons

I like a few of their songs I have heard on the radio but haven't listened to them much besides that.

Re: Best Song for Each Album

It's hard for me to pick a reason why I chose these songs over others. When I thought about each album, these were the first that came to mind and I used that as my basis. EP: Senor & the Queen (2008) Song: Blue Jeans and White T-Shirts Reason: Album: Sink or Swim (2007) Song: Boomboxes and Dict...

Re: Need Interview Questions for TGA

If you played a different genre of music, what would it be? What is the favorite cover song you have played? Have any bands covered any of your songs? If so, what was your favorite? Will Gaslight ever cover songs from your previous bands such as Surrogate McKenzie or The Killing Gift? Is the portray...

Re: Show Review Ventura 4/20/13

Sounds like an awesome show! The part about Brian calling out a guy in the crowd reminded me of this video I saw a while back:

Kind of awesome but the way he does it makes him sound a little cocky. Glad he did it though.

Re: Bitcoin

I always thought that the US dollar was backed by the gold owned by the Federal Reserve in places like Fort Knox. Printing more money without getting more gold caused inflation. The bitcoins having value "because they are useful and because they are scarce" is a strange and iffy concept to...

Re: Bitcoin

Surely there is something making the bitcoin valuable. In the same way that everybody can turn their Paypal money into paper money. Or the same way that paper money is supposedly a place holder for gold. If somebody just made it up with nothing behind it, sooner or later it will go back to where it ...

Re: Bitcoin

Wikipedia left me a little confused. What is the driving force behind the value? Computer power?

Re: The Counting Crows

I haven't listened to them too much but I've always liked "A Long December" and "Mrs. Potter's Lullaby". TGA uses some lyrics from "Round Here" in "High Lonesome".
